Devo is the only other band that comes to mind as far as being robotic & "pop" sounding. Also somewhat similar but more artistic & spacey...Tangerine Dream, Jean Michel Jarre, early Vangelis.

Robot like music? Well, Radiohead's Ok Computer is good, especially Fitter, and there's Idiot Pilot, and there's a bunch of stuff with good 8-bit style overlays in the nintendocore genre (HORSE the band comes to mind)
