hello, my aunt has lived a completely normal life up until about four years ago when she was in a very serious car accident. after months in hospital she was able to go on with her life but with a bad ankle that affects everything she does. however up until a few weeks ago she was completely normal other than the ankle. about a week before her court case to deal with the accident, she lost most of her ability to speak and she can barely walk and do thing on her own. she still knows everything, but she can barely get her words out. like she starts to talk and then its like she stutters and cant get past it. she can say thing once in a while but when it comes down to actually conversing, she just gets stuck. the doctors say it could be post traumatic stress syndrom, or it could be mutiple sclerosis. does anyone know anything about what could be happening, and can ms just start out of the blue like that??
any help is greatly appreciated.

You should contact the Brain Injury Association in your area. Brain Injury problems can present themselves suddenly, within days or years of the injury, and, depending upon the location of the injury, can appear in many forms.
