Substitute a meal and gym workout?

Hi guys I am getting back into gym after a three year absence(very lazy I know), When I was going to the gym three years ago I didn't use any protein shakes or any pills and I was now wondering If it would be safe to substitute one of my meals for a protein shake I was thinking either lunch or dinner and also I have a gym workout routine from ages ago Whats your view on it and any suggestions will be welcome.

Monday Cardio+ toning
5 min warm up treadmill
20 min jog treadmill
5 min cool down
3 sets incline dumbbell press
3 sets Triceps kickbacks on bench
3 sets bicep curls on cable machine
Stretch cool down

Tuesday OFF

Wednesday Cardio+ Core
5 min Warm up
20 min Interval training treadmill
5 min cool down
3 sets back extensions
3 sets bicycle crunches
3 sets leg raises
Cool down

Thursday
20 min Stationary bicycle

Friday Cardio+ Lower body
5 min Warm up treadmill
10 min cool down
3 sets stability ball squats
3 sets lateral lunges
3 sets bridges
3 sets seated calf raises
cool down

Saturday
20 min bike ride

Sunday OFF

Thanx guys your help is much appreciated

Oh yeah I am a very muscular build so anythin that can cut muscle and lose fat.
