About 2 weeks ago I received a subpoena to appear in court tomorrow as a witness.
I was the cashier at a local retail store near my house. Well the store had some things stolen from it while I was running the register. I didn't even realize what had happened until it had happened. I was a new employee and I was focusing on my work, not on the 10-20+ people in the store. This was a 5 minute period back in July of 2011. I don't remember everything that happened as it was so long ago. I'm a bit worried about what I'm going to tell them when I testify. I remember very little from that day and I'm not sure how exactly my testimony is going to be relevant. Can I just tell them that I don't remember most of what happened and just relay what little I do remember or will that get me in trouble?
