In july my boyfriend got arrested for putting his hands on me, since that we went to the district court and I answered all the questions and then it proceeded to the county courthouse we have not been to a hearing at the court yet. However he was arrested on 2 separate times but the first time they did not hold him but I got another subpoena to go to another hearing at the district court for the day they did not keep him and I want to invoke my 5th amendment however I dont want to get in trouble. For the first time he was arrested I did not sign a statement but the second time I did and I also want to invoke my 5th amendment when that case goes to the higher court. I just really want to know what I can say at the district judge to help him and to not get myself in trouble either. There is no point in the both of us being in jail. If anyone had any advice please let me know. Im not sure if this will make a difference but this whole case is under the CommonWealth of Pennsylvania.
