I bought a Sprint phone from a guy off craigslist and since he said that he was switching carriers I assumed, as he probably did as well the phone would be deactivated. Well I have the phone in my possession now and I cannot activate the phone because it is still active on his old account. I cannot activate the phone until he deactivates it. I have asked him numerous times to do so but he will not return any of my emails, let alone deactivate the phone. Should I contact craigslist or go after him myself?
