Ok, so my first couple of days on the stuff was great...Its only a week later and I have to tell you all I am thinking of stoping it...I am not getting good sleep, I have no apetite, I am anxious, and just feel like crap all day long now.I am suddenly repulsed by the taste of the stuff etc...Its like a total switch...Today was the first day I thought to myself I want my Oxy's back..I am on a rollercoaster now and it wont stop..This stuff seems to do some very weird things to me anyway, Oddly enough It is helping my cravings but the cost right now seems to high..I just dont know what to do...

The doctor acually told me I was not taking enough? I almost puked at that and the thought I would have to shove more of this vial stuff under my tounge ! Without telling the doctor I have on my own LOWERED the dose I am taking..Anyway, I am all screwed up here, I hope some of you have some answers and advice...Should I be on some type of antidepresent??

Thanks

Hi There

I think that mixing meRAB is not a good idea if you do not have too.
However everyone is different. What may work for me, may not work for you.
Have you considered vitimans? I know it sounRAB silly, but it may help. Also fruit juice. Have you asked your Dr.?

I too donot like the taste of suboxone I always keep some kind of hard candy handy when I take mine...It does help...don't give up on it!! hang in there

Bill, I went through a similar experience. I was taking anywhere between 300 to 800mg of OxyContin. It nearly ruined my life. I was on the verge of losing my family and quite possibly my life.

I decided to try the Suboxone to get off all the Oxys without the horrible withdrawals. The Suboxone was a GoRABend, believe me. Far and away it was the easiest way of quiting opiates that I had ever experienced.
I believe, iirc, that I was started out on a 12mg dose, then down to 10mg three days later, and then so on until I was off of it and free. The transition was painless. I have heard of other people having withdrawals from the Suboxone but I had none.

The thing that shocked me though was the price of the Suboxone treatment from place to place. I lucked out and found one for under $500. I firmly believe that many of these places are fleecing people and keeping them on the Suboxone for longer than they really need to be.
