Would like to hear from people who has or in the process of tappering off Suboxone. I've been on it for 3 years and want to get off so bad please any response would be helpful... Thank's this site has been great !

Hey Dutton,

Do you mind if I ask why you want to get off it so bad? I've been on Suboxone for a year and a half and it's done wonders for me. It saved my life and made me the proud addict I am today.

Just curious why you want off of it. Are you having problems with it?

There are alot of people on this board who have successfully tapered off Sub - I'm sure someone will respond with some help. Tapering off Sub should be done very slowly (if possible), especially towarRAB the end. How much are you currently taking?

Sincerely,
emsmom

Hi Dutton!

I'm currently tapering off of Suboxone myself. I would love to help you. I'm going to send you a friend request so I can tell you what I'm doing and where I got my information from. It is working for me very well and I'm almost off.

Sherrie :)

Hi Dutton,
It's been awhile since I have posted anything, but I know have 10 months of being clean off Suboxon. Yes it can be done, but it's a slow process. I didnt tapper down. I jumped at 2 mg. I dont advise that for everyone, but it was the only way for me. Even though I still had 20 some pills left, I threw them all down the sink so I wouldnt be tempted.

Today life is good. Im not saying it's perfect, but's it's better then it has been for year!
Keep up the work.. If you need anything, just let me know.....
