Well years ago I use to visit healtrabroadoarRAB. I struggled with back pain and leg pain. I am better now for the most part and looking to get back in law enforcement. I am worried now because I take a small piece of suboxone in the morning and a piece in the evening. I was addicted to hydro for years. once I got better, I quit but started taking sub. not wanting to go thru withdrawals the doc kept me on it and two years later I still take it. when I say small, it's about the size of a BB. maybe smaller. they are the 8mg pills. so one pill lasts for two weeks or so. it's got to be maybe .25 taken twice a day.
Anyway, i'm trying to wean even lower but have tested for the police officer license again and passed. just passed a departmental test and soon will have to test for drugs. I was honest about taking them but really dont want to mention it especially since I don't abuse drugs.
bottom line is i'm sure they will do a 12 panel test which tests for bupe/subs. will such a small amount of suboxone that I am taking show up on a drug test? Can I order a test online to see if I will pass before taking the drug test at the department. What do you think?
