Hi yall, I've been on suboxone now for almost 2 1/2 yrs. I was lucky enough to get my subs paid for by the PAP for 2 yrs. Basically my doctor wants me to get a job just to pay the outrageous 100 doctor visit and the 330 for the pills. Does anyone have any advice at all? I'm thinking of getting on methadone but I really don't want to go to a clinic in the ghetto everday to get it, plus I don't drive. So it's either that or wean off which I don't think I'm ready to do. Also have the people on here that are having trouble weaning off of subs and having the horrible withdrawal taking anything for it? I mean my doctor told me he would give me ultram, clonodine, and stuff to sleep. One time I went like 5 days with no subs and I didn't even start to feel really sick until the 5th day. Any input would be awesome, thanks.
