I went in for EGD because of signs of enemia. I have had Gastric Bypass Surgery and got sick a lot over the years struggling with portion sizes. No Recent weight loss .. actually gain, no pain, trouble swallowing or anything on the list of cancer indicators. I have a 2CM submucosal nodule in the proximal esophagus. Also no family history of anyone with cancer except a grandfather with leukemia in the 70's. I don't drink and quit smoking 9 years ago. Should I be worried ... because I am!! Also 52 years old. Thanks for ANY information!! My Dr. did not act concerned but I am!
