My mom's flip phone broke and she wants to get a stylish slider to replace it with. Her favorite color is blue, although I am having a hard time finding any sliders with that color besides the samsung u600. I am mainly looking at older models, because they can be had for less than $100 new. It should also be at most 15mm. The specs like camera and screen size don't really matter too much, but they are a plus.
The main ones I have found are the u600/u700, s500, and w760. I lean more towards Samsung as their devices seem to be built better and have better screens, not to mention being very thin. The u600 also comes in blue, although I can't say I've checked every slider available out there, because there are many. The s500 and w760 look a bit toyish and plasticky, and I've been soured toward the brand since the last time I bought a w610 and was very disappointed in it, but SE phones have very good battery life, which is also important.
I'm really just looking for better alternatives to these choices, as I really haven't found anything noteworthy (or under $100) besides this crop of sliders circa 2007-2008.
