I have found that the spokes and wheels on my bike often suffer from the weight of myself (15 stone) + 2 children {1 child being towed (Trailgator) and 1 child in front of me (Weeride)}. The frame is OK but the wheels aren't strong enough.
Since my bike is ageing I am looking to replace it. I'd rather not have bespoke wheels made, unless I have to. Are there over the counter bikes available with strong wheels (Steel, reinforced spokes, etc.).
In the USA they do Wormanscycles etc and have various heavy-load solutions for obese people. What could be a good solution here (in the UK)?
