I was a history major, I had Intro to Western History I,II, and III.
Since I was going to college to learn, I tried to do my best to learn all I was taught, plus more.
If one goes into higher education to find the 'easiest' classes...you may be in the wrong place!
I found all very interesting and gained much insight into the world of not only 'yesterday', but today.
Both I and II are associated with humans, migrations, views that became more sophisticated, and showed the quests for insight and the past history of humans.

which is easier to pass, to memorize and enjoy, i'm taking one of those classes at Los Angeles Pierce Community college ?

Introduction to Western Civilization I
==========================
The development of man from Paleolithic times through the civilizations of the Ancient Middle East, Greece, Rome, the Middle Ages, Renaissance and the emergence of nation states is emphasized.

Introduction to Western Civilization II
============================
This course covers the development of western civilization from the beginning of the seventeenth century to the present time. Provides knowledge of the nations of the modern world and their relationship with one another.

Personally, I prefer the modern era. I find it more relevant to today and frankly more interesting.
