Student from England want to study in Australia?

I'm a student in England and I'm about to start university this year. However my girlfriend is moving back to south Australia where she was born and I would like to move with her. Can anyone give me any advice on the cost of starting uni there? like the cost and and does it make any difference that we are getting engaged? thanks in advance
