So I'm sculpting an octopus and since the head is a bit weighty, I'm hollowing it out, but my teacher told me that it should put everything on a slab so the tentacles don't crack or break off easily, but if I'm hollowing out the head, which lies on the table in the way that i've set this all up, how do i go about something like this, because if i put a slab under it, there will be a pocket of air, which isn't a good idea..
