I am a law student and have had some interesting conversations with my parents.
My parents say lawyers are stuck up country club types. I admit I probably fit that stereotype. I think, however, that very few lawyers are stuck up- they do not make enough money to be as stuck up as doctors. To me lawyers seem like the fun loving type who play golf and lacrosse. Of course they listen to classical music- they are intelligent.
On the other hand I find 90% of the doctors I have met to be condescending stuck up people. They cross there legs and wiggle their feet as if to say, "Look at my knew Gucci shoes." l also find doctors to have a air of superiority that you rarely see in lawyers. They act like you are low life. They walk in and look at you with that "Ha! I make so much more money than you. I have been working for a year and already make $200000- more than you will ever make."
Do not get me wrong- I like doctors a lot. Some of my best friends are med students and doctors.
Then there are engineers. The almost as much as doctors money makers. Most seem down to earth and for some reason I cannot grasp drive simple cars. If I made as much as the average first year engineer I buy myself a Porsche.

Of the three I would say Lawyers would be the least likely to be "Stuck Country Club Types." First, the majority dop not make enough to afford country clubs! Doctors are the typical country club snobs. You do not see many lawyers driving Porsches and Ferraris but you see very few doctors, who after about 5 years of working, are not driving one.

So what do you people think. It is the age old question, "Who is more stuck up, "Doctors, Engineers, or Lawyers?" I would say it goes Doctors, then Engineers, and finally Lawyers. I would appreciate some input to help me in my argument.
