So ive been in this battle against weight loss for about six months now. In the first two months i lost about 45 pounds to drop from 230 to 185. Then in the next three i was holding pretty constant to that number. I went down to about 181, then back up to about 187, then down again, etc. (keep in mind im a college student, so my schedule is kinda messed up at times, but i do work out almost every day of the week).
Anyway, the last month ive been holding at 185 and i cant get past it. Ive been at this stage for a long time, and i cant seem to push past that marker. I think its that final 20ish pounds that i need to take off, but i cant seem to get it. (my BMI is about 26.5).
Anyway, im pretty in tune with how to work out, and ive been trying different routines in the gym to try and work past that number, but im just not breaking it. So i was considering maybe taking a month of some sort of suppliment in order to help get me over that hump. What i really needed to know, hopefully from a trainer or a supplement expert, is should i look for something that increases my calorie burn, or should i look for something that actually targets fat cells? What sort of supplement ( i mean like a pill from GNC) should i take to push me over that point. Or if you think theres a better strategy i would love to hear it.
Just on a last note, im an 18 year old male, about six foot, 185 right now, trying to get to about 175. Just to give my information for workout reference.
