i'm playing stronghold 2, and i'm fairly early in the game. i'm in a mission where i need to destroy a bandit camp to the east. should be doable, but i've tried for days now, with armies of 300+ (spears, archers and peasants together) and they all die. i've searched the web for hours and looked into all the postings of helps and cheats to no avail. almost ALL of my armies die before they even get up the hill, i can't even target the enemy archers on the walls. i can't find a way around the back of the camp, the only way to get there is straight up the hill, is there some sort of trick i'm missing on this? i have tons of gold, honor and i can make loads of weapons. also i noticed that i can't seem to send a large army all at once, just small groups break away to attack even when i tell 200 to go, only 20 or so do, leaving the rest selected, but not moving (this only seems to happen when i tell them to attack).
please know that i have read ALL previous requests for help with this question, and have check each link posted. no luck. no dice. i've you've actually completed this mission, please just tell me how YOU did it. thanks a million!
