Recently I've noticed a strong chemical (not sweet) odor coming from my Jeep. Originally, I thought it was the air conditioning since it's not working properly. However, I've made a couple short trips with the windows down and still noticed the smell. I haven't noticed any fluids leakage on the driveway either. You can smell the odor from the outside and inside of the Jeep. I'm guessing it's either the brakes (fluid?) or the air conditioning system judging by the smell. Any ideas before I take it to the shop? And for the love of God, please only answer if you actually know what you're talking about.
