My husband and I spent all day yesterday stripping paint from a glider style ottoman and rocker much like this one: http://www.walmart.com/ip/AFG-Deluxe-Glider-with-Ottoman-White-Beige/10284276 . The job was difficult but very much worth it when the ottoman and lower half of the rocker revealed a beautiful solid wood. But now we are at a standstill, The seat itself WILL NOT STRIP! I spent hours yesterday just chipping at the paint and getting no where! What in the world did they use on this thing and more importantly, how do I get rid of it? We are so close to having the whole thing beautiful solid wood, stripping this can't be impossible can it?
