street glide wheels on a road glide

have a 09 road glide and have never really cared for the "mags" that come on these bikes. (although they are better than the old 9 spokes). i do like the street glide wheels and the way they look on the new road glide customs. have located a set of new take off for a fair price. my question is what should i have to do to transfer other that the obvious...1. swap tires ( my new tires only have about 1500 miles on them..2. new bearings? (old wheels have about 12000 miles on them)...3. swap over rear hub isolator....4. balance. am i missing something?? thanks
 
You don't have to swap anything, just bolt on the new wheels. The ABS bikes come with different bearings than the non ABS bikes. You will have to swap bearings if you are doing that.
 
thats bout it..I did the same thing. Had to replace bearings as they didnt have the ABS bearing but that was 25 buck. Like you I never cared for the RG stock wheel.
