Strapping touring bike to table lift?

Picked up a nice Handy-Lift off of Craigslist recently. Paid about 1/2 off retail for a 2yr old lift.

Came with the upgraded wheel vise that really locks in the front wheel nicely.

I've been using the ratchet straps to tie it down over the top bars of the engine guards on my '06 Streetglide.

Where do you normally strap yours down for the best stability when doing normal maintenace and cleaning with both wheels flat on the lift?

Don't really want to strap over the handlebars.

Anybody use an alternate strap point?

Thanks in advance,
Primo

I always use soft ties around the front forks, just above the fender bolts, than strap down to the two I bolts next to the front wheel chock.

I don't even strap mine most of the time. But when I do, I strap the engine guard. When a friend brings his Ultra over, we strap to the highway pegs on the engine guard.
