First I'll give you a little background information....I've been having a lot of pressure in my head, slight dizziness, Weird pressure in my ears and strange hearing sensations, and just kind of out-of-it feeling for a while now. I'm not sure what is causing it, but I've had pretty bad posture most of my life (slump my shoulders and neck forward), so my doctor sent me to physical therapy starting a few weeks ago to work on that. He thought it could be affecting what wrong in my head. It feels like something wrong with the nerves to me, maybe being pinched or something (just a guess though). Anyways, the therapists have me doing these neck stretches where I tilt me head to the side and really stretch each side of my neck. I can really feel it pulling when I do these...it hurts but I feel it making my neck looser so I hold it. I also feel the pressure in my ears get pretty intense when I do these, it almost feels like it's really pulling some sort of nerves in the ears, but I don't know much about this so I'm totally guessing. Well I was doing the stretches just a few hours ago, and my left ear was really feeling a pulling, and ever since I did them today, my left ear has been numb. It's really weird. It feels numb pretty much all over, but it's mainly noticeable in the lobe. It also looks just slightly red. My right ear is fine. The left side of my neck seems to be the side that is always tighter so I'm thinking this is related. I am wondering if maybe I am stumbling upon part of my problem. Do you think I should keep doing these stretches with my ear going numb? Is this a good thing, or something I should be concerned about? Any help would be great, and I will definitely talk to my doctor about it too.
