Thank you so much Katsie for sharing your story with me. It makes a lot of sense to me. An ER doctor a few years ago had thought I was suffering from some sort of Connective Tissue Disorder, like lupus, an put in my notes that was her diagnosis as an arterial blood test showed a marker for it but that marker could also have suggested a long clot, so they went down the path of working on the clot and it hasn't been brought up since about the possibility of a C.T.D.
It is interesting you shoud mention hormonal problems, I do suffer from this. I have had extremely irregular cycles and have had difficulty concieving. We are currently trying for baby #3 for the last 4 years.
Furthermore, I have just been told, my mother has been diagnosed with severe Rheumatoid arthritis which has just recently flared up. She has been brought into hospital yesterday as it has coem on so quickly and basically throughout her whole body, from feet to her face. If this problem is on my mothers side it would answer a lot of questions. You see, my mother was adopted and we don't know her family history entirely. If Rheumatoid arthritis is in her family it could be in my genes.
I have decided not to give up trying to find out what is wrong with me, your post has motivated me to keep looking. There was a time I was going to give up trying as it was so frustrating and I was really starting to think the doctors would think I was going crazy or just looking for attention.
Thank you again for your help Katie, it is much appreciated.
