strange smell coming out of vents in jeep chke '99?

Just now discovered strange smell coming out of vents, almost as if its a burning smell but no smoke, no smoke under the hood and its more of a burning chemical or plastic smell or something, any other ppl with same problem? when the heat is on the smell is unbearable to me.
its not antifreeze, i know that smell, its a smell i am unfamiliar with, very strange
