I"m looking for other's imput here, and some professional opinions would be great too!
I have found a lump in my abdomen, extending from just below my belly button to just below my sternum, mostly in the middle, then heading distinctly off to the right near my ribs.
I've had an ultrasound scan, and they didn't find anything amiss. Saw a different doctor about it this afternoon, as I couldn't get in to see my original doc.
Now the new doc said that it is my spine that I can feel. Ive had three kids and my abdominals are shot to pieces, making deep palpation pretty easy. I would tend to agree with him except that it heads off to the right so much and my spine appears to be dead straight from the back. It also would mean that my spine was pretty thick to be felt in the position it is.
So has anyone else experienced this? I can just envision lots of folk laying down and poking about in their tums after reading this post! Tell me what you find
Im going back to the original doc who thought it felt like something was amiss and see what he says, but i'd love to have others thoughts on this.
