Strange looking bed bug

I got bitten by a bug that I assume is a bed bug, but looks pretty different from any I've seen pics of. I took close-up pics.. It has verticle lines on it's back. It was latched onto my back- had to yank it off, and I still have a good size welt. Am wondering whether it may have come from another country with a package I ordered.
 
Holy crap, I just looked up tick pics and that's exactly what it was! Thank you so much for suggesting that.. I think I'm ok, as the bite is healing, but am going to contact my doctor.. thanks again.
 
Keep an eye on the bite and if you develop a "bullseye" rash around the bite (doesn't always happen) go get checked for Lyme Disease. Although it may not have been a deer tick.
Dog ticks and/or wood ticks do carry other diseases though

I had one walking on me last month after coming in from working in the yard:mad: flushed that sukka right down the toilet
