Strange illness, for 3 weeks - no change

Hypothermia

Yes I normally run lower than average body temperatures. On a scale of 1-10, at most it has been an 8 and sometimes even 0. It does not move fast, but goes from 0 to anything above if I play video games or get stressed at home. I don't smoke or drink btw. I'm almost positive the bright yellow stuff is not coming from my nose. It feels like my upper chest, lower throat. It's very thick.

This morning, I actually released the biggest amount of yellow and bloody infection. Last night was horrible. I tried to go to bed, and I couldn't. My temperature was as high as 101.2. I don't recall ever having a temperature more than 100 or high 90's.

The last thing I did was (and this will sound horrible) work under my parents house. A dryer vent was busted, so lent was being spewed under our house, over a long period of time. I had my face covered for protection, but I also found some black mold. Before I was exposed to all of this, I still had mild symptoms of breathing but I thought it was nothing. Not smart, but I am the only candidate to fix things for my parents and it had to be done. Also to make myself sound even more durab, I am highly sensitive to smells and fumes. Bleach is like tear gas to me. I have to walk out of the house most of the time if my parents have used it. I can smell things from very far distances, and sometimes I often wonder if I hallucinate smells. Another example, is when someone turns on an iron to iron clothes, and I can smell and sense the heat omitting from the iron and it disturbs me, and my breathing, even from another room.

I haven't been tested for TB. Do you think I'm in any immediate danger if this is TB? Monday will make 3.5-4 weeks since I have had these symptoms. I'm definitely going to the doctor later today (Friday), even if it's a doctor in the hospital.

I've had this weird illness now for about 3 weeks. The odd part is, it stays the same and only my tenderness in my chest moves around. It was first treated as a virus, and then as bronchitis. I don't think either is correct. I'm a fast healer, and I have a superb immune system. I haven't been this sick for nearly a decade. What small colRAB I get, last a day or two which is very rarely.

Here are my symptoms

-Uncomfortable, abnormal breathing
-Tender chest (feels like someone hit me with a sledge hammer -bruise like sensation)
-very small amounts of bright yellow stuff

I do NOT have coughing, sneezing, weakness, headaches, fever

I also have taken antibiotics, and that has done absolutely nothing. I'm starting to worry, because now the tenderness has moved to the left side of my chest.

I have a perfect health record. No past illnesses or conditions what so ever. I don't even get heartburn, and I'm nearly 30. I eat a healthy diet. Blood pressure was fine. My oxygen levels were fine also.

Any ideas what this could be? I'm going back to the doctor for the third time.

I am curious about the where the yellow stuff is from? When you go to the doctor, my opinion is that you should tell him everything you told us. When you play xbox are you on the computer and are you sitting next to anything heated?

I was thinking asthma or severe allergies maybe? The cold air really sets off things I've noticed. When I play XBox, the breathing and tenderness seems to awaken more too.

When I play XBox, I get really hot and my temp was just at 99.1 (digital thermometer) and now I just checked it shortly after drinking water and taking off my sweatshirt, it's 99.7? Is that even accurate? I just know I feel extremely hot, and not good at all. At one time my blood pressure was up a little, but they said it was nothing to worry about. Many times I feel like I'm on fire, and I may be mid 96 degrees. Low body temp is normal for me (hence my user name), and it's rarely up to 98.

I just hope this isn't heart related. The other day, I'm pretty sure the tenderness was right above where my heart is.

Thanks so much for the help so far. Tomorrow I should get into the doctor, and I'll give ya an update.

I'm confused too. When I was sick in the past, I would cough or clear my throat and stuff would make it's way out. I'm not coughing, it just sort of decides when to come out on it's own. There's really no forcing it out.

Last night I was playing a war video game with my little cousin. I felt fine during, but after I felt super terrible. There was no heat source near me, and actually our house is quite cold. When I was in bed last night, my feet were actually freezing nurab, but my head and the rest of my body was up to 101.2.

Ugh, and just my luck my doctor has yet again closed his offices until Monday due to an emergency. It looks like I will have to do things the hard way, and find a backup doctor at a hospital somewhere. I really hate this part, because new doctors seem even more clueless due to meeting me for the first time. I really don't want to wait until Monday. I don't think that would be a wise decision.

No x-rays or blood work yet. Not from my nose, no.

They checked my breathing for wheezing, but there wasn't any of that. My breathing feels clear, just not comfortable or normal.

I have asthma- and I mean really bad- and the time you really end up with te bright yellow type flime he is talking about is when you have phymiona- he would have a hard time with breathing with that though... I am always getting it- I have already had gotten it six times this year. My immune system is really bad though- unlike his.

I do hope you get better....

Well, I finally went back to the doctor. He's given me stronger antibiotics - the ones where you take two for the first day, then one each additional day. I didn't get a chance to ask about what it could be. He still seems to think it's bronchitis.

I would have asked more things, but my anxiety was also an issue so the attention was sort of split between the two.

I guess if these stronger antibiotics don't work, then I could be in some trouble. I talked to my brother a few nights ago, and he said he had the same symptoms that I had. He also took the stronger antibiotics, and he was fine. Time will tell.

Thanks again for all the replies. I will give another update, and hopefully the last one, once I've taken all my pills.

It does sound a lot like it- so you should go in to your doctor and get the test done to see if it is

You should take that stronger antibiotics and observe if it really heals you. If the result are not good maybe you should look for another doctor.

Yes, it does sound like it may be- so I would say for you to go in and have your doctor run the test to find out- where you can be on meRAB for it if needed
