I didn't know which category to post this under, so forgive me if it should have been in a different one than General.
I get about 5 to 7 hours of sleep a night on average.
I also have a decent amount of stress because of school & responsibilities, etc. I'm also 16 years old.
Last night after dinner, I fell asleep on the couch at about 9:00 PM. I woke up at some point and went down to my room and slept. I woke up at 2:00 AM this morning and realize I hadn't done my homework, so I worked on it and it ended up taking up to about 6:30 AM (A large project).
I slept until about 7:20 AM before getting up to go to school. I drank a cup of coffee to help me out, because I knew I had gotten barely any sleep. Ever since waking up I've felt very very strange. I feel like I don't know whats going on and have a sense of a strange reality, as in I'll wonder why I did something, won't fully realize that I just went to another room, etc.
I'm wondering if this is because I only got a few hours of sleep and maybe because I have anxiety?
I also just had a mild-severe anxiety attack. I have a lot of PVCs (heart skips a beat) and that always causes me stress because sometimes I think I have a condition or am in serious danger, and several times it will induce a panic attack. This morning it happened.
Please help, I don't know if I should get help for stress or just make some changes.
