the dream started off at the edge of a lake type place one side was the lake and the other a large mountain with large stairs going up to a door which led to a long bridge through the inside of the mountain. inbetween this was a semi industrial village made of wood (my dream was set in the past as everyone was in fabric clothes and the men had swords etc) i was the chieftain of the clan/village and was very popular among the villagers. After a while a large bell sounded and all the men started to run up the stairs through the mountain, i followed and as i walked through the cheering crowd and got a sight of the bridge i suddenly felt a great feeling of fear, there was hundreds of what seemed like orc/panther warriors (random i know) i shouted to the men to hold them off and i ran back into the village and screamed for everyone to desert the village. As i ran i saw a baby lying on the floor beside its mother who had an arrow through her chest, i picked up the screaming baby and ran towards the lake, as i waded into the lake i turned and saw hundreds of the beasts swarming out from the mountain entrance and villagers desperatly trying to get to the lake, i had an over-powering fear to save the baby as it would be able to carry on our clans existence, so i turned and swam towards the swampy forest land on the other side of the lake. as i reached the forest i turned tound again and the village was in flames, i felt safe but when i turned to my right i saw an extremely ugly old woman, who was surprisingly fast running towards me, for some reason i knew she wanted to kill me and the baby so i ran again. The Dream ended with me climbing a very tall but very thin isolated mountain with the baby in hand and the woman following close below Thats when i woke up.
Ill also add that this is the first dream i had which had a sort of soundtrack, when i was trying to make the villagers flee, there was definite 'tense' music in the background.
I said enjoyable in the title as this dream felt extremely long and was very vivid and still is. It also felt pretty good to experience being a clan leader
