I bought a Honda Jazz (2002) recently and discovered a strange problem with the key lock on the driver's door. The day I had my test drive, the seller showed me how to open the door with the actual key and it was fine. Since I bought the car, I had always used the remote control to open and lock the doors. A few days ago, I was just testing in case one day I had to use the key to unlock the car (say if the battery in the remote control gone flat). Then I discovered this problem - I could put the key in the driver's door lock but I could not turn it either way, left or right. I did the same on the front passenger's door and it had no problem, I could lock and unlock. This is strange as I did see the seller unlock and lock the car with the key that day but I can't do it now. Can anyone help? Does anyone know if it is something that I have done stupidly to have 'locked' the key lock on the driver's door?
