As reported by many LG OP S users, the battery life is a big problem. In the first few days when I had the phone (Dec. 2010), I had the same problem. A full overnight charge only lasts to noon the next day with very limited uses. I did as suggested by some users, turning off wifi, bluetooth, GPS, syc and any non-essential apps, installed task killer and used it as frequently as I can. For a while, one full charge can even last for 2 days and I was happy about it.
But in the recent days (I do not remember I changed anything), the battery problem suddenly took a sharp turn. A full charge can not even last up to noon. The phone became hot when the battery drains fast. I bought a spare wall charge for my office. If I charge it with phone on, the indicator shows that % of charge goes down instead up. I have to turn the phone off to charge the phone. It frustrates me.
I read that there might be some type of bugs going on. Is this true? If it is, LG or Andriod should work on this.
