Hi Everyone!
Well, this one is a mystery - hope someone can relate.
I had my gallbladder removed six weeks ago. The symptom that has been driving me crazy on a daily basis since the op is a strained abdominal feeling that only goes away when I lie down or sit down. It feels like a pressure, bursting feeling - kind of like a football has inflated inside. It's also an extremely tight feeling. The doc tells me it's post-operative and not to worry.
I had an abdominal ultrasound and MRI right before surgery and all looked fine except for the inflamed gallbladder and stone caught in bile duct.
I wish it would go away! The only thing that helps it a bit is an Ativan. Otherwise, I feel quite healthy. Can anyone relate? If so, do you have any suggestions as to what it is and how you deal with it?
Many thanks!!!!
