I got 98 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with v8 5.9L GAS 38x15.5"tires and 20"rims, it gets 13 mpg on highway.. would strait pipe add more torque and hp? and would it eat more gas?

Strait pipes would hurt your gas mileage. It probably wouldn't be a big help in the hp/torque either. Go with some flowmaster(s). Better sound.increase in hp and a lil MPG help. Add an K&N intake to help some more with your MPG rating.

well ur taking a resticted element of ur cars exhaust so yes it will give u a lil bit more power but u will wast more gas
