I know there has to be some type of solution; but, I am not sure what?
My husband, says the relationship with his daughter is bad; because, of me. When he is off work he says I make him yell at her to get out the door to go to school. I don't; because, he pipes in himself.
He blames me; because, he says I always make him yell at her when she leaves for school, etc... (this is to get her out the door, so she isn't late and she has been tardy; because, she leaves late).
Meanwhile, here is my side, she has terrible grades and I have tried repeatedly to get her to do them and even to do her chores. She doesn't listen to me; because, if she gets upset she will go to her Dad and complain, and he takes her side~ so nothing happens. I even get up early to try and get her out the door on time for school and have to yell at her ~ Dad pipes in and then I am in trouble; because, I am trying to get her out the door on time.
Today's' economic situation affects us like everyone else so we have had the problems of finances,job stress, etc... However, she does have a roof over her head, nice clothes, cell phone, internet and cable.
I don't know what to do anymore; because, of this situation.
Does anyone have any suggestions? He is upset and blames me for the relationship being bad between his daughter and himself; but, the bottom line is he isn't there for her and I have tried and now I am to the point where I don't want to be there for her either.
Any suggestions for myself in dealing with this would be great, please, don't judge me along the lines of her not having anything, she does and more. I have tried, everything; but, my hands are tied with the Dad and the Mom ( who doesn't care ), and the truth of it is I am getting to point like her Mom and not care either.
Please, if anyone has some suggestions before it gets to that point, I would greatly appreicate it...
