So, last July I injured my ankle. I was running and ran on an uneven part of the sidewalk on the right (there was a drop off) and my foot turned outward, I heard 2 loud pops and my body immediately fell to the ground.
It was similar to how I'd sprained that ankle a few times before, but the pain was way beyond anything I'd experienced (I was very nauseous and couldn't walk at all).
We went to one of those care-now clinics some hours after, and it was very swollen when they x-rayed it. He said there was no break, but they'd do a follow up...they didn't, and I never got another x-ray.
It's been 9 months and I still can't run because the causes me a lot of pain.
Do you think it could've been a hairline fracture?
