Okay so I found out what my story idea is going to be, just need help on something else. A boy is hiding something and shows it to another boy who becomes his friend, what should it be. This is a fantasy story, so please be creative.
 
A small mystical critter w/the ability to communicate. something pocket sized that could be like a jimminy cricket of your middle earth. maybe it also has other abilities?
