This is the beginning of my new story. Please help me to Improve. Like if you don't like the names or if it plainly sucks? All suggestions taken!!!
Friendship is one of the most important things in life to succeed. Why? Because who would you go to if you need a shoulder to cry on or some advice in life. Who, just your family? Sometimes you need a shoulder to cry on because of them.
As you read you will discover what it is like for four 12-year-old girls who go on in life with out a friend’s shoulder to cry on.
Hailey Bliss
“Hailey!” Vivian yelled my name from down the hall. I turned around and see that her long locks of curly, golden; hair that was down to her elbow was cut short to her shoulders. My mouth dropped. She had now reached me and smiled. “So?” I was in shock.
“You look, uh, um, uh…” I stuttered. “Sophisticated?” She laughed. “Yeah, sure.” We walked down the hall and she told me that it was hard for her to cut it.
“I mean I haven’t cut my hair since 1st grade. I was sad to see it go.” I sighed. “It will always grow out again.” She nodded. “True.”
I reached my locker and locked in my code. Vivian went two lockers down to hers and hit it twice, twisted the lock then it popped open.
“Remind me why you do that?” I asked. She rolled her eyes. “It’s been broken since the first day of school. That’s why I hate lockers, they either brake or you can’t remember your code.”
I grabbed my history book and lime green backpack. Vivian grabbed her science book and her princess pink backpack. Which reminds me how opposite we are.
She is a Girl girl and I happen to be the tomboy. She wears skirts and blouses and looks all cute and sassy while I wear an old T-shirt and some warn out jeans. She has the perfect golden hair while I deal with knots and tangles in my straight, dark, brown hair.
I shut my locker and leaned against it. Vivian shut hers and looked at me. “Something wrong?” I just sighed. “I mean we are so different.” She shrugged. “So.” I got off my locker and looked at what she was wearing.
She had on white leggings with a knee long purple and pink polka dot dress. Then I looked at me. I had on an old green camp T-shirt and a pair of black sweatpants on.
She tucked a curly piece of her hair behind her ear. “Well, I can’t help I like to dress like this and you can’t help that you dress like that.”
The class bell rang and we walked down the hall together. “Well I guess so.” I admitted. As we walked it seemed like she kind of felt sad. “You ok?” She nodded and turned into her classroom.
What is up with Viv? She has never acted like this before. But I could’t think long because I hurried to my class and took a seat next to Addy Bell.
“Hey Hailey!” Her light brown hair was pulled back into bouncy ponytail and she wore a bright spring outfit even though it was only March.
“Hey.” She saw the confused look on my face and touched my shoulder. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing. But you should ask Vivian the same question.” She raised a eyebrow. “What happened?”
The final bell rang and Mrs. Rowl got up from her desk.
Whatcha think. I may change t add more detail but is just a start. And as it goes on I switch perspectives between 4 girls (One hasn't been mentioned yet)
