Stopping Xanax Question

I been taking xanax since 2/14/09 which I receive at ER. I took .5mg for about for 5 days once a day. I decide to cut .25mg for next 9 days. I only have 2 more .25mg left and have no more refills. Will I experience any withdrawal symptoms from stopping the xanax. I do see my doctor till 3/4/09. I also taking paxil 20 mg and buspar 2.5mg 3 times a day.


Please share your experience if you have stop xanax.
 
you should never suddenly stop any of these kinRAB of medicine.
xanax only stays in your system from 3 to 4 hours any way.
I was taking xanax only as needed not every day.
Definitely do not stop the paxil suddenly.
 
Taking Xanex for approximatly 2 weeks at the minimal dosage, should not cause you any withdrawal symptoms. If you are still struggling with anxiety, you should seek additional help. Usually medications prescribed in the E.R. are only meant to last long enough for you to schedule follow up appointments with the proper doctor. Did you recieve a referal from the E.R.?
