stopping hotmail spam?

How can I put a stop to unsolicited e-mails from hot mail senders ? It has become impossible to delete 15-20 per day. Thanks for the advice.
 
Yes this is a serious problems as while registering with websites sometimes your e-mail id can fall into wrong hands ending up filling your Inbox with spam.Best solution would be checking those spam mails and seeing whether there is a link to unsubscribe from such mails.
If not continue DELETING them.
