Stopping Creatine Monohydrate before Boot Camp?

I am going in to boot camp in six months. I have lost a lot of weight (60 pounds) in the past few months, now I find it harder to do so. I've begun lifting weights in addition to the cardio I've been doing. I have been taking protein powder, but am considering using creatine to build up mussel, so I can get a metabolism boost. Is stopping creatine when I ship out going to have a negative effect?? (Strength loss, fatigue, ect...) Should I just avoid using it at all, or can I give myself time to ease off it
 
NO. Just remember to drink lots of water. One of the main things ur instructors wud make u do is hydrate hydrate hydrate til ur pissing clear.
