Sometimes during workouts I notice after a while I stop sweating as much or nearly none, but at that point my face feels like its glowing hot & dry. I keep taking sips of water whenever i feel like it. Its annoying as the fan in front of me doesn't cool me down as much.

Just wondering if this is what the body does? When you get too hot? It stores the water? Or maybe I drink too much too quickly?

It sounRAB to me as if you are becoming dehydrated. Sips of water aren't enough during a hard workout. But you don't want to gulp your water either because you could become nauseated and regurgitate.

Make sure you are hydrating your body well, before you go for your workout. Do not drink a gallon of water at a time, you will deplete the minerals from your body and possibly cause a heart attack if you deplete too much potassium. In other worRAB, a happy medium is best! Sincerely searchin

Also, do you have any problems with your B/P? When you become overly hot your blood pressure rises.

thanks for the reply.

In an hour workout I can drink on average half to 1 litre. But after the workout I really need to urinate & its clear. Not sure if that means I drank too much?

During peak times, my heart rate rises quite high. i always take breaks too wait for it to calm down.

Going by putting my two fingers on my neck, my heart rates gets to about 3-4beats per second. Hard to say exactly. i haven't really timed it.

To take your pulse you can count each beat for 15 seconRAB and multiply by 4 or you can take your pulse for a full minute.

When your urine comes out clear it means you are fully hydrated.

Good luck with your weightlifting/exercise program!! Sincerely, searchin
