Stomach problems

July 2009 I was admitted to hospital and the doctors thought that I had appendicitis, however, the Drs unfortunately found an ulcer in the duodenum that had perforated.
Since then, I have been on Omeprazole to try and help the acid reflux. The Drs. initially ruled out H. Pylori, and then they were, and have been testing for other things since. I have had several endoscopy's that have shown nothing 'wrong'.
Since the first endoscopy, my medication has been reduced, from 80mg, to now, none at all. It has been a week (tomorrow) since the endoscopy, and the last dose of Omeprazole.
Since this, I have been feeling increasingly unwell. Stomach pains, and quite a lot of indigestion, and general pain in the epigastric region. I am unable to sleep well due to these pains. It helps when I eat.
Do I have another ulcer? I thought it would be way too soon. I'm worried because of what happened last year.
Does anyone have any advice or information?

Thanks

Liam

Liam,

I think you should contact the gastroenterologist who is treating you and alert them to how you are feeling now that you are no longer taking the Omeprazole.
