i previously posted but really need some help as i am really worried! :-(
I used whey protein powder with oats, milk and dried fruit to make my own protein bars for eating post workout from the gym. i ate two small portions and then felt ill afterwards, some of the symptoms i have included:
(1) urinating frequently after drinking liquid
(2) passing lots of wind both farting and burping
(3) after eating a full meal my stomach feels airry like im hungry again
(4) cant sleep at night
(5) grumbling noises in my stomach
I went to the doctors and initially he said i just needed to drink lots of fluid to wash it out my system, but after doing a urine sample he said i had a minor infeciton and was prescribed trimethoprim for a wk with 2 tablets a day. i used this and went back to the doctor saying the symptoms have not gone. I have done another urine sample to test but am awaiting the results. i start a new job in over 2 wks time and i have a Masters dissertation due next wk.
Can anyone advise what i have? i thought it maybe worms so i spoke to a pharmacy and they said usually that is caused from contaminated meat. i was told to await the urine sample, but i am worried.
