Stomach Issues

Hello Healthboard community, I'm Mark, I'm currently 17 years old. I'm 5"10ish and I weigh 200 lbs(a little overweight).

I'm coming to you guys for some insight on my stomach issue, for the past 6-7 months I've had terrible gas, I saw my pediatrician(i don't have a doctor at the moment) and he said I had acid reflux so he prescribed Zantac, I stayed on it for 2-3 months and nothing changed, I didn't have any of the other symptoms of acid reflux so i ruled that out. Now I've been experiencing a TON of diarrhea and bloating. I've changed around what I ate, i rarely eat fast food, maybe once a month, I mainly eat a home, I eat a lot of fruits(bananas, apples, pears, peaches) but I do drink soda almost every other day but I doubt it could be causing this. I get diarrhea 4-5 times a week and it comes out with an awful smell and mainly greenish color, I told my grandpa who used to be a pharmacist and he assumed I had stomach bacteria. I've been very concerned lately and the problems are getting worse and worse. I'm kind of lazy and don't excersize much.

Oh I forgot that I get cold really easily, whenever I feel my stomach and the sides of it, it's always cold or chillier than the rest of my body.

Thank you for taking the time to read what I have to say, any opinions would be welcomed, I'm really concerned and scared. :(

Your syptoms sound very familiar to those associated with parasites. Parasites can cause diaherroa, bloating, offensive smelling faeces, abdominal pains, weight gain, muscle pain, tiredness, nausea, weakness, and the list goes on. I suggest you do a bit of research over the net (there is a lot of useful information out there), see a doctor, and then if you find out that you do in fact have it, I advise you not only take the required tablet, but do a parasite colon cleanse. Hope this has helped.

thank you for the reply, i googled stomach parasites and it freaked me out, i had 80% of the symptoms they listed but it comes from infected water, areas with known parasites, etc. ANd i did not fit any of those, I'll most likely see my doctor soon.
