Stomach cramps

I have had stomach cramps since last Thursday. I finally went to see my local doctor on Wednesday and she gave me peppermint oil tablets for the cramps, and some antibiotics for a possible urinary infection I may have. I have been taking both of them together since Wednesday, and I still get stomach cramps now and again. Are the antibiotics and the pills working? Any other recommendations?
 
Have you been having regular bowel movements?
This problem happens to me all the time, just something I live with.
Constipation can be very painful sometimes.
