Hi everybody,
I lost my phone on Monday in a big lecture hall. I haven't been able to find my phone. I assumed that someone had stolen it.
However, I've been checking my online verizon bill, tracking the minutes used and texts used, but no outgoing activity has been found on my phone.
Is there any chance that somebody stole my phone and somehow is using it (even though the verizon wireless account says it isn't being used)? It's still on after 3 days. I can still call it, and it still goes to my voicemail after it rings.
I haven't suspended the account yet, because nobody has been using it. I will report it to the police...soon. I also found a listing on craigslist in my area that is really vague and sounds kind of sketchy, but the pictures link doesn't work. Can I file a claim to the police?

Thanks for all your help, and I really appreciate it!!!

If there has been no phone activity and your phone still rings before going to voice mail, chances are it's laying somewhere and nobody has found it. In regards to filing a claim a police, I'd make sure it really was your phone on the ad before you go to the police. Better yet, cancel your account asap. Many people lose phones, and I think it's better to just move on, cancel the account, and get a new one as soon as you can. Good luck.

You only lost phone and not keys right? Best not to give information about where you live on a phone.

Could be you need to check lost and found at the school. Maybe someone turned it in. Might be best to call Verizon to alert them to the loss of the phone.
