"Stoked" (pre-airing) talkback

The newest tv series by Fresh tv (known for 6teen and the Total Drama series) 'Stoked' will be released fairly soon (June 25th in Canada) so I decided to start a thread for any thoughts. Seems like Broseph is going to be this series equivalent to Jude. The animation in the previews has been awsome so far, which makes me even more excited to watch this. So discuss away. :cool:
 
GOD I HATE Teletoon's website! Its SO FRACKIN' heavy!! Bleh!

Sounds fun, but a bit too much like a variation on the theme of 6Teen don't you think??

I wonder how the folks at Fresh.TV would fare on an action-adventure-comedy? That'd be cool to see... apply their talents for characterisation to something else than their usual fare.
 
Doesn't look terribly bad. When does it come to America? (Probably 2010, knowing Cartoon Network.)

I'll be interested to hear the theme song.. For some reason I have a prediction for it. I'll be surprised if it ends up exactly like how I imagine it.
 
Yeah that's the one thing that worries me, if it will be too much like 6teen only with surfing. But, I have confidence that they'll make it a unique series. :anime: What exactly do you mean by 'heavy'?

And Rho, I think its coming out this summer but, I could be wrong.

Edit: It looks like we already have a 'Stoked' thread. Could the mods possibly merge the two? (Sorry I didn't know there was another thread)
 
What I mean by heavy is that it takes a long time to fully load and makes my poor computer lag. In fact, I can't remember when the last time I was on their website and I didn't experience any slow down.
 
Heard the theme song. Not what I imagined, but still pretty good.

It seems like a teenage version of Rocket Power. And that's not a bad thing.

Who's willing to guess that Bridgette and Geoff's voice actors will be in this show?
 
The song is called "Dear Maria, Count Me In", by All Time Low which was released in 2007. Kinda gives it an anime theme song feel, if this is the actual theme song.
