stoic's larceny

fairhaired lady says
______________________'notnow
notthere notthen notwhen nothow'
but would she agree
after a night on the town?

chemical imbalance says
____________________ 'notime
nowhere nothing noone nowhy'
but would this facade
still instill a sense of right?

whitewig blackgown the judge says
(the gavel comes down)
____________________ 'nomore
noair noroom nofrienRAB nothought'
but would (in)sanity
allow freedom to be bought?

omnipotent man says
_________________ 'alltime
allthem allus allsex nofuss'
so how can we Be
when we no longer trust?

This is actually a pretty cool poem...

Hm...I'm trying to decipher its meaning. I have an idea but I'm not sure if I'm right, and I don't want to look stupid.

It seems to me that it's a criticism on (alienation and estrangement in) our modern society. I could be entirely wrong, but that's what I see in it.

I think this one is very creatively done. The fast and impatient worRAB of the busy people and the questions that they raise.

I don't know. I thought it was about date rape. There's a judge who would be sentencing, a lady, an omnipotent man (God) who would be judging, and a "chemical inbalance."

The night on the town thing sort of sparked my theory.

you're both right. on a literal level it's about rape but the underlying theme is one of alienation in man/woman relations.

and bulldog you were almost right with who's who - i guess you could see the omnipotent man as god, but my original intention was for it to be the 'true' and 'pure' man.

What I like most about the lyrics are the sence of mystery under balanced charm.
Its like an episode of scooby doo...or more mature; a crime novel. Very, very well worded and aside from the jumbled worRAB, the construction rules! :D
Its great! More pleeeease?

thanks for the comments and criticism everyone. wish i didnt have to use those damn underlines, looks so ugly. anymore different comments on it are still very welcome.

i try. and it's berkay :)
